We don’t cut corners. Our rigorous vetting and compliance processes are designed to  reduce your operational risk, improve safety, and ensure full regulatory compliance  with: 

  • DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency) 
  • Driver CPC requirements 
  • HMRC and Home Office guidance
  • Working Time Directive & Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations

Frequently Asked Questions

Right to Work Checks

We verify and retain valid proof of the candidate’s legal right to work in the UK,  including: 

  • UK/EU passports or residency permits 
  • Share Code (for EU/EEA workers post-Brexit) 
  • Visa status (if applicable) 

In line with Home Office guidelines.

Additional Compliance (Role-Dependent)

For specialist roles, we also check: 

  • ADR certification (for hazardous goods) 
  • HIAB, Moffett, or forklift licences 
  • Enhanced DBS (if required for sensitive cargo, e.g. pharmaceuticals or  school contracts)
  • PPE and safety training (e.g. high-vis, safety boots, etc.)

CPC Certification

All drivers are required to hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence  (CPC). We confirm: 

  • Valid DQC (Driver Qualification Card) 
  • Ongoing compliance with 35 hours periodic training
  • Expiry date and upcoming renewal needs

Digital Tachograph Card

Drivers must present a valid Digital Tacho Card, which we verify for: Validity 

  • Usage history (if relevant)
  • Readiness for tachograph-controlled vehicles

Driving Licence Checks (DVLA)

We run real-time checks using the DVLA’s online licence check service to confirm: Current driving categories (e.g. C, C+E, D1) 

  • Validity and expiry 
  • Endorsements or penalty points 
  • Disqualifications or bans 

Checks repeated every 3/6/9 months as required by clients

Induction & Briefing

Before placement, all drivers receive: 

  • Site/client-specific briefings 
  • Manual handling & health & safety awareness 
  • Working time directive and driver hours compliance overview

We can customise inductions based on client requirements.

Insurance & Risk Screening

To protect our clients and staff: 

  • We screen for accident history (if available) 
  • We assess driver risk profiles where applicable
  • We notify clients of any relevant incidents or claims during previous  placements

Ongoing Monitoring

  • Licence & CPC expiry tracking 
  • Feedback from clients on performance 
  • Spot checks and reassessment as needed
  • 24/7 support and reporting
