Turbo Driving is proud to be partnering with a leading supplier to recruit reliable Class 1 HGV (CE) drivers for deliveries to retail stores and shops – for immediate starts in Newbridge NP11 3EF.
Deliveries to coastal retail sites – 2-3 drops per shift
Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday Days £17.37 inclusive of holidays
- Monday to Friday Nights £19.05 inclusive of holidays
- Saturdays £19.61 inclusive of holidays
- Sundays £20.73 inclusive of holidays
The Role:
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will:
- Monday – Friday
- 13.00pm start times
- load the wagon as and when required but usually done by site
- store deliveries
- Use of trolleys to transport stacking baskets to store
- Abide by driving rules and regulations
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently Requirements
As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Hold a valid UK Category CE (Class 1) licence for at least 1 year.
- Hold a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Hold a valid UK CPC Card
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role (the role is physically demanding)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
