Turbo Driving is proud to be partnering with a leading supplier to recruit reliable Class 2 HGV (C) multidrop drivers for deliveries to retail stores and shops – for immediate starts in Newbridge NP11 3EF.
Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday Days £14.55 per hour + Holiday pay or £16.30 inclusive of holidays
- Monday to Friday Nights £15.50 per hour + Holiday pay or £17.37 inclusive of holidays
- Saturdays £16.30 per hour + Holiday pay or £18.26 inclusive of holidays
- Sundays £17.00 per hour + Holiday pay or £19.05 inclusive of holidays
The Role:
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will:
- Work any 4 shifts from 7 per week – could be various days
- 03.00am starts
- load the wagon as and when required but usually done by site
- store deliveries
- Use of trolleys to transport stacking baskets to store
- Abide by driving rules and regulations
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Drive a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently Requirements:
- As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will:
- Hold a valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence for at least 1 year.
- Hold a valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Hold a valid UK CPC Card
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role (the role is physically demanding)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
