Job Description:

Turbo Driving is looking for a HGV Driver Recruitment Co-Ordinator to join our growing team Based in our offices in Warrington WA4.

This is a full time permanent position.

Monday-Friday 08.30am – 17.00pm

A Recruitment Co-Ordinator is responsible for supporting the end-to-end HGV hiring process, working closely with Recruitment consultants and Managers to define job requirements and write job descriptions. This includes conducting initial screenings, scheduling assessments or inductions and managing communication with candidates to ensure a smooth hiring experience.

Key duties typically include:

  • Managing and maintaining applicant tracking systems, ensuring accurate records of candidate applications and statuses.
  • Coordinating and participating in the recruitment process, such as candidate screening (must have a confident telephone manner) communicating clearly with consultants and managers.
  • Assisting with the onboarding process for new hires, including verifying employment eligibility, preparing contracts, and conducting licence and right to work checks.
  • Organizing candidate information, updating recruitment databases.
  • Liaising with consultants to identify staffing needs and candidate requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and company procedures.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of recruitment .
  • Providing administrative support throughout the recruitment cycle, including documentation and pre-employment paperwork.

Qualifications and Skills required for a Recruitment Co- Ordinator typically include:

  • 1 years experience in Driver recruitment – HGV Roles
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills for coordinating multiple hiring processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to interact with candidates, consultants and managers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Job board advertising .
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
